There are several muscles that play an important role in a person’s appearance. As we age, our muscles begin to work harder. This creates wrinkles. Examples include wrinkles on the forehead, frown, around the eyes and mouth. By injecting Botox into the specific muscle, you allow it to relax, in effect, making the muscle work less hard. This makes the line or wrinkle that bothers you disappear.

Botox / muscle relaxants

• Crow’s feet: The muscles around the eyes responsible for crow’s feet can be treated with botox to reduce the appearance of these lines.
• Chin wrinkles or dimples: Botox can be used to relax the muscles in the chin, reducing vertical lines, as well as chin dimples.
