GLOW Brightening
“Light up the pigment spots!”
Almost everyone develops brown spots on their skin over the years, especially on the face, neck, décolleté and hands. These pigment spots are caused, among other things, by daylight, solar radiation (UV) and blue light – that comes from screens, for example. Your skin becomes more restless, making your appearance older and grayer. Fortunately, there are several treatment options to properly treat pigmentation spots and troubled skin. A GLOW Brightening combination treatment, then, may be the perfect solution for you.
The GLOW Brightening combination treatment is the perfect blend of treatments and techniques that we apply side by side (different skin areas) or on top of each other (same skin area). This blend is specifically designed to reduce pigmentation and gray skin. The GLOW Brightening treatment is a combination of laser or IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment, various peels, a mask and aftercare with cosmeceuticals. The unique recipe to tackle pigment effectively.
Each skin area often has different needs. For example, you may suffer from pigmentation in the skin and at the same time suffer from rosacea on the cheeks and lines around the mouth. The uniqueness of our GLOW treatments is that in one session we treat the same skin area with different techniques to penetrate deeply, but also treat different skin areas. This all falls under one combination treatment that we call GLOW treatment. Why do we do it this way? We have experienced and proven that in this way we can achieve a faster, more effective and better result for your face.
Are you curious about the possibilities? Plan your appointment now!
We begin with a free intake that focuses on your needs. Together we look at the needs of your skin in your face, neck, décolleté and/or hands at that time. We then advise which treatments we think are most suitable for you. Together we will come up with a personalized plan to make you and your skin shine. We also give you an indication of the costs.
You can start right at home with our HOME skincare cosmeceuticals to improve your skin condition and lighten dark spots. These cosmeceuticals have a high concentration of active ingredients that can already significantly lighten pigmentation spots. Ingredients such as niacinamide, kojic acid, phytic acid, fruit acids, arbutin and vitamin C accelerate the breakdown of excess pigment in your skin. By starting to prepare your skin at home you also reduce the risk of a skin reaction after the treatment. Your skin is already accustomed to certain ingredients that we use during the treatment.
The treatment session consists of several parts. During one treatment session, we perform several superficial peels. We select the appropriate peels for your skin. Do you have sensitive skin? Then we choose for example a gentle mandelic peeling. Can your skin handle a little more?
Then we choose a more intensive TCA (Trichloroacetic acid) peeling. With a peeling we safely remove the superficial layer of skin, making unevenness in this skin layer disappear. We combine peels with a laser or IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment. This reduces pigmentation, improves your skin texture and stimulates the production of collagen and is very suitable for light skin types. Then we apply a hydrating or soothing (phytocorrective) mask. This session with several treatments takes an average of 45 to 60 minutes.
You will be given comprehensive aftercare instructions after each treatment so you know exactly what to do and what to expect. It is important that you allow your skin to rest. The pigment spots may darken temporarily (about 5-7 days) after the treatments. This is a normal skin reaction, the pigment first comes more to the surface of the skin after which it lightens and disappears. In the first week after treatment, avoid exfoliating creams, scrubs and masks with lots of perfume. Also be sure to avoid bright sun, or massages and beauty treatments for four weeks. With HOME-treatment products, take care of appropriate aftercare at home. You treat your skin with light ceutic, antioxidants and melacream, which are specially developed for pigment-sensitive skin. Do you have questions about aftercare? Your skin therapist will be happy to help you – even after treatment.
Pigmentation spots will fade quickly and your skin will look more radiant and even. For long-lasting results, we recommend repeating this treatment several times every four weeks. An initial GLOW brightening treatment is lighter and we build up the intensity to maintain results and stabilize your skin.
Does this GLOW treatment suit your skin and your improvement needs? During the intake we look at your face and determine together whether we include this treatment in your personal plan. We also determine what frequency will give the best results. We almost always recommend multiple treatments. Research shows that skin treatments in a cure context give the best and fastest results, think of an average of 4 to 6 treatments and then maintenance treatments. We also look at other GLOW treatments that can be a good addition to your personal plan.
