Maybe you were born with low eyebrows and it’s genetic, maybe your eyebrows have started to droop more as you’ve gotten older. Either way, drooping eyebrows unfortunately often make you look tired and you may even suffer physically because of an oppressive feeling on your eyes.

Drooping eyebrows are mainly caused by the muscles around the eyes and forehead. These muscles pull the eyebrows slightly downward. The result is a gloomy look and a tired appearance. This is easily treated with botox. With a botox injection at the eyebrows, the muscle that pulls the eyebrows down will weaken. The eyebrows are thereby lifted, so to speak. Thanks to a brow elevator, you will immediately look fresher and more rested.
Treatment with botox allows us to elevator your eyebrows without surgery. The eyebrows are held “in place” by a deep-lying muscle. By relaxing this muscle slightly with botox, we rebalance the muscles in this area, causing the eyebrow to elevator slightly. The treatment takes only five minutes and is virtually painless because your skin is cooled during the botox treatment. The result is visible after about a week and will be effective for about three to four months. If you repeat the treatment regularly, the result will remain visible longer and longer.
We recommend that you wait a while with sports for the first few days after the treatment. Otherwise, there is hardly any “downtime. It is possible that a small bruise develops at the spot where the pricks were given, but you can camouflage this with some makeup if you wish.

Drooping eyebrows often create a tired appearance and can even cause physical discomfort due to a pressing sensation on your eyes. If your eyebrows aren’t heavily drooping yet but you can clearly feel and see the effects, a brow lift with Botox could be an ideal solution.
Een botox behandeling wordt vrijwel als pijnloos ervaren. De behandeling wordt uitgevoerd met een zeer dun naaldje.
Voorafgaand aan de botox behandeling nemen wij alle wensen met je door tijdens een vrijblijvend consult. Onze cosmetisch artsen zullen een advies uitbrengen in de vorm van een persoonlijk behandelplan. Tijdens de behandeling wordt dit plan nog een keer doorgenomen om vervolgens te beginnen met de behandeling. De behandeling zelf duurt slechts enkele minuten.
Het resultaat van de botox behandeling tegen hangende wenkbrauwen is niet direct zichtbaar na de behandeling. Dit komt doordat de botox een inwerkingstijd heeft van enkele dagen. Meestal duurt het een kleine week voordat het eindresultaat zichtbaar wordt. Het maximale effect is bereikt na 2 weken.
De wenkbrauwen worden door deze behandeling juist gelift. Met een botox injectie bij de wenkbrauwen zal het spiertje dat de wenkbrauwen omlaag trekt verslappen. De wenkbrauwen worden daardoor als het ware gelift.
De botox behandeling kan het drukkende gevoel op de ogen wegnemen. Heb je last van zwaar hangende wenkbrauwen en zijn ook je oogleden gaan overhangen, dan is wellicht een ooglidcorrectie een betere oplossing.
Je bent direct na de behandeling weer toonbaar. Het kan zijn dat er wat roodheid ontstaat op de plek waar de prikjes zijn gegeven, maar dat kan heel makkelijk met make-up worden gecamoufleerd.
Wanneer je last hebt van zwaar hangende oogleden is een ooglidcorrectie wellicht een betere oplossing. Een ooglidcorrectie is een relatief kleine ingreep, maar met een groot resultaat: je kijkt weer met open blik de wereld in.
Het resultaat is na ongeveer een week zichtbaar en zal 3 tot 4 maanden effect hebben. Als je de behandeling regelmatig herhaalt, dan blijft het resultaat steeds langer zichtbaar.
Bij een uitgeruste uitstraling hoort een frisse oogopslag. Naast het liften van de wenkbrauwen geeft een botuline toxine behandeling van de frons een extra liftend effect.
