GLOW Purifying

You start preparing your skin at home about three weeks before the treatment with our HOME skincare cosmeceuticals. These cosmeceuticals have a high concentration of active ingredients. This brings your skin already in a better condition prior to the treatments. Moreover, these products independently of the treatment itself already give an improvement of about 30%. 

The treatment session consists of several components. We begin where necessary with a deep cleansing of your skin. We remove blackheads and blockages. We do this with cleansers that contain exfoliating ingredients. Then we perform different peelings. We select the appropriate peels for your skin, for example a 12% TCA, milk peel, renewlift, gluconolactone peel or pumpkin peel. With a peel, we can reduce inflammation in the skin, address coarse pores and reduce sebum production so you are less shiny. 

We combine this with micro needling and/or IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) laser. With microneedling, we can visibly reduce acne scars. IPL is an effective method to reduce redness and is anti-inflammatory. Then we apply a hydrating or phytocorrective (calming) mask. This session with several treatments takes an average of 45 to 60 minutes. 

You will be given comprehensive aftercare instructions after each treatment so you know exactly what to do and what to expect. It is important that you allow your skin to rest. Your skin may be a bit redder and may also feel tight and warm, this will not last longer than one day. Depending on the peeling, some scaling may occur, with a mild peel this is minimal, with a more intense peel this will last up to one week. In the first week after treatment, avoid peeling creams, scrubs and masks with a lot of perfume. Also be sure to avoid bright sun, massages and beauty treatments for four weeks. Your skin is calmer and more even. For long-term results and permanently improved skin condition, we recommend repeating this treatment. An initial GLOW purifying treatment is lighter and we build up the intensity to maintain results and stabilize your skin.
