Docter Do Wijers

Doctor Do (Dorien) studied medicine in Amsterdam at the UvA. During her training she did a lot of research and published several articles. She then worked in neurosurgery and orthopedics before moving to Germany to train as a vascular surgeon. Here she first lived in Düsseldorf and then completed her training in Bocholt just across the border near Arnhem. After working as a vascular surgeon for two years, she decided to come back to the Netherlands and take a different direction as a cosmetic surgeon.

In September 2023, she started working at the van Rosmalen Clinic. As a surgeon, in addition to injectables, she will focus primarily on eyelid surgery and other minor cosmetic procedures, as well as varicose vein surgery as a new procedure within the clinic.

She relishes the opportunities to further develop within this field and also to be able to further apply the experience gained as a vascular surgeon.
