Filling collapsed temples
“Beautiful contours create a youthful appearance.”
“Beautiful contours create a youthful appearance.”
What is perceived as a beautiful face often has to do with bone structure. The cheekbone, upper jaw and lower jaw define the contours of your face. Round contours and an even face are associated with health and youthfulness. But as we age, the skeleton shrinks and the skin loses its elasticity, which can cause hollow temples, among other things. You may notice it when you look in the mirror with bright light: Sunken temples and dents next to your eyebrows. You can see the outline of the bone of your eye socket edge, which can give a gloomy, parental look.
By filling the temples with fillers, you can give the eye area a beautiful rejuvenation – with a very natural result. This not only makes your appearance younger but also healthier – as if you have your natural glow back.

As we age, the skeleton shrinks and the skin loses its elasticity, which can be the cause of sunken temples. This greatly affects your appearance, also because your eyebrows no longer have support and sink down a bit. It can give an older, gloomy appearance. Very angular contours also create a masculine appearance. When contour enhancement through fillers, the jawline and/or nose are quickly thought of, but the temples on the side of the eyes are also very crucial to a healthy appearance.

After reception at the clinic, in Rotterdam, The Hague or Nijmegen, there will be a short conversation and we will take pictures to later see the results of before and after treatment. Then the treatment begins where the temples are filled with fillers. By placing one prick per side, a cushion is created, as it were, which ensures that the sharp contours of the eye sockets are no longer visible. The treatment is virtually painless and usually causes hardly any swelling.

After treatment, some redness, swelling or blue discoloration may occur around the injection site. This simply goes away after a few days and can be camouflaged with makeup. It is important not to massage the treated area for the first few days and to wait a while before treatments at the beautician.
Fine lines fade, beautiful facial contours and higher eyebrows. After the treatment, you regain your soft and round facial contours. Your eyebrows will rise again and the fine lines around the eyes will fade a bit, a nice added benefit! The results of filling collapsed temples last about ten to twelve months. This is a little longer than a filler treatment for wrinkles around your mouth, for example. This is because there is almost no muscle movement at your temples.
After reception at the clinic, we first take photos to be able to see the result of the treatment properly later. Then the consultation with a cosmetic doctor KNMG takes place, where the personal treatment plan is discussed. During the treatment, the filler is gradually placed on both sides with small punctures. This creates a cushion, as it were, that ensures that the sharp contours of the eye sockets are no longer visible.
As we age, the skeleton shrinks and the skin loses its elasticity, which can cause hollow temples, among other things. Your appearance can change significantly as a result. For example, you may notice that you look tired or gloomy without actually feeling that way. In addition, skeletal shrinkage can also cause your contours to take on a more angular shape and speak more of a masculine appearance.
